When I downloaded Guilloche Patterns via Firefox for FF 6 beta the Overrides (both Variation and Size, pixels turned off) were ignored after I downloaded the filter. So you can change Variation, just doesn't do anything.
I downloaded the same filter in FF 5 and the Overrides were ok, both Variation and Size, pixels were greyed out. Mac OS X 10.11.6 FF 6.004 beta Math meets art meets psychedelia. |

I'm afraid we can't reproduce it. The filter in FF 5.012 looks the same as in FF 6.004. Can any other Mac user confirm it?

Pretty interesting. I use Windows myself, and the Size and Variation sliders are disabled for me. Any ideas?..

Could you please post a screenshot of the entire FF window, non-cropped.

And I went into the editor and checked. It shows the overrides as disabled.
UPDATE: Just on a couple of hunches, I tried it by removing My Filters. No change. I also reinstalled FF 6.004 beta on the Mac, made no difference. UPD ATE 2: Seems like all the filters have the same problem. Somewhat Twisted has Size, Pixels Disabled, but the Size, pixels is active. Also, on Somewhat Twisted, Variation is se t to Auto. In FF 5 is it disabled. In FF 6 beta the control is active. ![]() Math meets art meets psychedelia. |

Ran into this one too with one of my own filters - several of my control remapping values were lost. It happens when you open up the filter editor change something and save the filter..bam .. all is lost. Quite nasty.
In the attached filter: try to change the mapping parameters on the controls going into the wave. When you save they are lost (which is why that filter makes no sense as is now). Organic.ffxml |

At last something in this thread I can confirm. Sphinx, thank you for the report - I assigned your case to the developers.

That bug is very nasty - is it possible you could do a bugfix only release (i.e. not wait for next beta round)?
I stopped using FF7 because it ruined several filters by now ![]() |

We are almost there. A hotfix should be available tomorrow or on Monday.
