Filter Forge - Multiple broken filters since 4.0 Beta 2

Hi everyone,

Just reporting that a number of filters from the filter gallery are no longer working in FF4.0 Beta 2 / Win8 Pro / Photoshop CS6 64 bit.

This is just one filter out of many that I've tested and have found not to work correctly.

Any thoughts? I'd like to keep using the 4.0 beta but I will have to go back to 3.0 until this is resolved.

I posted about a problem very similar to this a couple of days ago. I'm having trouble with the checkbox control. Now all my older filter will not work if they have this control in it. Here is my post. http://www.filterforge.com/forum/read...&TID=11137

I found a work around for the "checkbox control". I checked the remapping option and set the "checked" box to 180 degree and the "unchecked" box to 270 degree. It is working with these settings. Only seems to be bad in the 0 Degree and 90 degree setting. Not sure if this will help programers or not. smile:)

Unfortunately that issue is in the filter itself, due to Smudge limitations, not due to program version.

Can see explicitly that the last preset in:

Variable Kaleidoscope

is different from 3 and 4 beta 1 to beta 2.

An effect filter/pattern seems defective:

Works first time, but add new image at 3000 x 3000 and the pattern is like barely created. All changes of image size after do not restore it to its full function.
