"To delete the selected components, press Del." (from the docs)

OS: OSX 10.8.2

FF: version 4.004

SYSTEM: Mac Book Pro early 2010

BUG: No 'Del' key available on many mac keyboards 'delete' does not mirror this functionality in the Filter Editor

FIX:'CMD-X' cuts and effectively deletes a component

The 'Delete' key removes the selected component correctly for us. Can anyone else confirm this?

On the Macbook Pro, the keyboard layout says "delete" when in fact (I think) it's the backspace key. So deleting via a single key stroke never worked on the Macbook Pro. We always had to fn+backspace to delete components or right click delete. I mean, the delete key itself does work, no problem with that.

I thought this was discussed in the past? :o

Well, I assume this is an issue with Macbook, not with Filter Forge. You can attach an external keyboard and use the 'Delete' key, right?

lol right, it's not FF's fault. But I don't think anybody would be willing to stick another keyboard for an extra delete key. smile:p I've done it, only for maintenance though.

fn+delete currently does the trick at the moment. But native Mac laptop users were never able to use the delete function as intended! Just sayin smile:p
