Note: Title does not exactly represent the problem.

I have a filter with a loop happening in it. This loop has a noise distortion in it. Where every time I drag a scale component into the chain the program crashes. I've attached a video that shows what happens. I'm currently on MacOSX 10.8.3.

Steps:
1. In the provided filter, find the area within the loop that has a noise distortion component and add.
2. Introduce a scale component in between the noise distortion and add components.
3. Crash!
(Note this happens anyway I throw in the scale component, but it doesn't happen anywhere else.)

Let me know if that link isn't working for you guys! smile:)

I have tried to make this in my filter forge and nothing happens, I add a scale component in between the two and there is no crash for me, and so perhaps this happens only on the MacOS side.

And as a proof here below is the same filter WITH the scale added in between, you can try to download it and see it it works for you.

By the way this rainbow filter has some cool and beautiful abstract shapes generator from simple photos when using high about 70 iterations

Here I have used the Lifesaver built in image and only modifying the iterations and using a 70 value I got this here below

Curious and weird things can be done with this smile:D

Here is using 70 iterations on the windows built in image

These are done with the original filter without the scale component

*Meant the beta gallery thread* I uploaded a result of it back in May 31st on the Beta gallery thread smile;) I mean regardless, pretty sure you should drop imagery the beta gallery thread and keep the forums clean.

smile:p and quit playing with my incomplete, broken filters lol.

Oh yes, you are right that it was uploaded before, but I am sorry that I have not seen it before, although is not the same as the result I got.

Djekki, is this something new and NOT the "output 0 to Scale and get a crash" issue?

UPD: this is really something new, that's a bug point for Skybase.
