All regular components in FF have a help link that launches the built-in help file.
Now, wouldn't it be great if the help links on Custom Components would lead to an author-defined page in the help section of the FF site? If we ever get online-sharing of Custom Components, this could be a great way for authors to document the function, controls and inner workings of these 'grouped snippets'. It could work just like Filter Info window, with a dedicated tab for the help page. --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

This should be very cool. I fully support this sugestion. It would be great for map script components too.
Somethig similar in this thread http://www.filterforge.com/forum/read...id=1417760 Skybase suggestion is also great. |
