This is not a bug, but a behaviour of the grouping algorithm that needs to be improved, IMHO:
1. Select a component that has a control with an active remapper on an incoming connection (use non-default values on the remapper to better observe the behaviour) and group it. 2. Apparently, all the properties of the original control are copied to the newly created control inside the group, including the 'Use remapping' state and the remapper's settings. This is good! 3. However, the control that remained outside the group now still has its 'Use remapping' state active, but uses default values for the remapper (i.e. it basically doesn't remap at all). Here's the thing: If it doesn't remap, why have the 'Use remapping' state active? IMO the remapping algo should always transfer all existing remapping inside the group, and default to non-remapped exterior connections. --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

Remapper Oddities pt.2
Internal Control Components that have an external connection mapped do not correctly update their Remapper value. Remappers on Control Components with no external connections display their value correctly (see attached image). - If the external value outside the Group is changed, the Remapper will still show the same wrong value. - If the Name field of the offending Control Component is edited, the Remapper suddenly updates to the correct value. ![]() --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

We've fixed it. The fix will be in the next beta.
