Please give us more info, like what operating system you are on (Windows7, WinXP, OSX, etc), what filter you were trying to apply and what error message (If any) you got before the crash.
That will help the dev team to identify what went wrong ![]() |

Is it this error you're seeing?
http://www.filterforge.com/forum/read...&TID=10430 CS6/Windows8 x64 for me, FF4 applies filter but exits with error above or by canceling operation. It's an instant error so I'm guessing FF-team are aware. It's not related to canvas sizes & DPI's. |

When ever Filter forge crashes as a plug-in or Standalone it always leaves the process still going this can be confirmed by looking at the taskmanager processes area. When it crashed for me Serif Photo plus was still running.
I also sent this about through the built in bug tool. |

Hi, I'm trying to test this with a different host program, Xara Designer Pro X and so far I am unable to reproduce the crash. It is taking the filter a very long time to render though (about 15 mins)
Could you post a link to the filter, when I searched the library I got multiple hits for oil painting and I'd like to be sure I'm using the right one. And when you say you set the canvas size are you setting this within Photo Plus? I'm testing this on a windows 7 64 bit system. Setting my image size in Xara. |
