After reading this post http://www.filterforge.com/forum/read...6&TID=5886 I now know why the 'open in filter forge' button on the website doesn't work. So my workaround is to let Safari download the filter and the double click on this file in Finder to load the filter into filter forge stand alone. This works for the first filter I download but if I then download another and double click on it, filter forge crashes and immediately disappears from the dock. If I restart filter forge and double click on the new downloaded filter again it loads in fine.
