Filter Forge 8 + Photoshop

I've been using filter forge 8 with photoshop since 2019, it has worked with every photoshop update, even up to 2022.

Now, I've recently reformatted my machine, and installed all the software fresh.

Filter forge no longer works in photoshop. After reading all the posts on this board, it seems you're trying to make users upgrade to the new version for it to work in the latest photoshop, when I know that it possible to run in PS 2022, as until I re-formatted my machine it was working fine.

Has anyone figured out how to successfully use an older version of FF with a newer version of Photoshop?

Appreciate the tips here. I had tried a similar thing to get it to work without any luck, and as it seems mac setup is quite different.

With a bit more fiddling, installing an old version of the software, finding a new directory, and voilia, I managed to get it working.

If anyone needs help with this, I can point you in the right direction.
