The main image used on the filter comments page is a "blown up" thumbnail and looks fuzzy on all comments pages. For example:

I will add that this is a recent problem - last year or two I think. |

I totally agree and I do not know why the used thumbnail is so low resolution and very pixelated in comparison to the perfect high quality shown on the main filter page
Why is used that bad quality on filter comments? To show clearly what it looks like here are two examples using the Sunex 2 filter by Ramlyn This is the filters comments that looks very bad ![]() And this the real and high quality ![]() |

I wonder why the image taken for the preview on the comments of the filter page is so badly pixelated when the original is correctly and perfect on the filters page , why is so low quality on comments filters page ?
Why is not using the same thumbnail that is used on the filter page? |

I have been thinking why the thumbnail shown on the comments page of the filter is so low quality, and have thought that maybe is because probably the page is taking the icon of the preview page and enlarging it to fit in the bigger space of the comments page and so it looks very bad.
It should take really the example from the main image of the filter page that is big and has a very good quality |

I wonder why there is no answer for this from GMM or Filter Forge team?
as I have put above the difference is really bad, and do not know why the filter comments have this very low quality |

The image on filter download page is 512 X 512 pixels while the one in forum is 128 X 128 pixels.
I think this may be for saving space on server. But I think instead of rendering another image for forum, we can totally reuse the same image that's on the filter download page. saurabh.gayali@gmail.com |

thanks did not know the difference in resolution
If the reason is save space on server then why have TWO images instead of just only ONE and use it in both the filter page and in the comments page? |
