Just installed the new version of Filter Forge 6, version 6.006 on my MacBookPro and there is a constant crash on startup with report generated and sent to Filter Forge.
Have returned to previous version (initial version when it came out) and all works fine. You may wish to wait a bit or make sure that you have the initial backup available ! Good luck ! Paul |

Have reinstalled the newer version and dumped the files fr om the library first.....keeping my filters elsewh ere. Now the software starts and does not crash but when I try to get new filter, the download does not work with 2 messages that pop up, the first one asking if the software can be launched (when it is already launched) and the second, saying the software cannot be launched as it is already running !?!? When I close the software between the 2 messages, nothing happens and another upgrade message pops up when I have the recent version installed ! So right now.....my software is non functional. I have sent a ticket in and waiting for a response !

You don't need to download the program, it seems you have already downloaded and installed it.

I have tried to install 6.008 and it gives me a program error message on my new MacBook Pro. After shredding all previous files and reinstalling it 6 times, it still will not run in Photoshop 2017!

I was able to install and user 6.008 on my iMac, but it still will not work on my new MacBook Pro.
