Hi

I bought FF4 Pro. I'm running Mavericks. At the beginning all seems fine.
Now after downloading all filters the startup time both standalone and PSP5 Plugin is 3-4 Minutes.

A normal reinstall doesn't fix this tis issue.

1. How can I completely remove (with all filers) and reinstall FF4 in Mavericks?

2. Is there any way to fix this without reinstalling?

3. How can I speed up the previews? Sometimes 1 minute but on some filters 3 minutes for the small resolution preview.

I'm using the latest mac mini with ssd-fusion drive and 32 Gig ram.

Thanks in advance.

Anybody withs an similar system? What are your times?
The long startup time is a huge problem to me because of the frequently crashes after 10-20 previews.

FF4 is a great tool, I hope I can enjoy it again.

After loading several thousand filters the first start is supposed to be slow. If you are patient enough and don't kill the process allowing Filter Forge to open, the next start should be pretty fast.

All library filters are stored in /Users/Your_User_Name/Library/Application Support/Filter Forge 4/System/Library.

Thanks. But the long startup is every time, not only after installing new filters. I installed FF4 on another Mac and it works fine.
Maybe the library file is corrupted?

So I copied the library folder on my main system and then delete all filters. I started FF4 without any filters. Startup only 2 sec.

Then I copied the filter backup back into the library folder and now FF4 needs only 5 seconds to stat. Perfect smile:)
