FF3.3 crashing when filter editor is being used

I have been reading about the issues with the filter editor causeing the program to crash when ever a slider is moved. I have had this issue since I bought the software, last week. I have MAC OSX Lion, 8GB ram, dual core cpu. I am using the latest version of Filter Forge.
How long is it going to take to fix this issue? Even with a discount this is still expensive software. Having it constantly crashing is unacceptable.
The forum suggests this has been an issue at least since the this version was released in November. When will the bug fix be available?
