Downloade trial version o FF and the folder is sitting in Applications but is not showing up anywhere as a plug-in in photoshop CS5. What do I need to do to open the plugin. I have a Mac 10.6.4 Intel OS-X.

Working in the plugin mode is not fully supported for CS5 yet. You can either run Filter Forge in the standalone mode, or apply this workaround, or wait for us to release the official plugin for CS5.
