I've attached a filter showing Duplicate ignores remapping and uses the default. In FF13 on the Mac, Ventura. The Noise Distortion at the top is Duplicated just below it. The Remap on the duplicate is the default value, not the 25-50 Roughness of the original.

This behavior is by design.
Remapping is a property of the component input – not of the control and not of the connection line. You need to select both the control and the component you're controlling and then Duplicate. |

The problem with selecting both the control and the Noise Distortion, then Duplicating is the control is duplicated as well. So if I have one control going to a Noise Distortion and then Duplicate 9 times, I will end up with 9 extra controls and have to re-route the original control to the duplicates to achieve what I want. I don't know if there is a solution.
