I just lost a lot of valuable photoshop history due to a crash caused by opening as plugin. I'm sure I read somewhere that that was a known bug, but I was too quick in normal workflow with my mouse.

If Photoshop cannot open FF3 as a plugin, please consider removing it from the plugin menu?

EDIT: Mac 10.6.7, 2009 iMac 8gb ram
Oh and your host compatibility page says it should work...

What file specifically do you require? I've never got cs4 to open the plugin without crashing unfortunately.

Targos, when Filter Forge crashes it prompts you to generate a bug report (this is not a Mac OS report – those are of little use to us). If you have generated a bug report please send it to the support team or post it here.

Now, over a year later, FF3 and the as-of-today current FF4 beta both crash my Photoshop CS5. Never has it offered to create a crash report for FF.

I can run FF stand-alone but transparency is unavailable* which is quite inconvenient. I wanted to run FF in PS to have transparency but the crashing guarantees that that won't be happening.

*Yes, I DO have Transparency set to On when saving the images out of FF. (Added this because someone on a forum ALWAYS accuses me of missing an obvious and vital detail like that.)

It was good while it lasted. Yesterday, for the first time in history, FF didnt crash photoshop CS4 Mac 10.6. Today though, back to crashville. smile:(

(Using it in PS as a plugin - usually I resort to using it standalone)

I use FF3 Basic in CS5 (32-bit) with no problems... no crashes at all. C2D E8500, 4GB RAM, 512MB Radeon 4870, WinXP, no internet connection. Same for my laptop... CS5 64-bit, Win7, i5, 8BG RAM, no internet connection.

I know that doesn't help you but just FYI.
