When using FF3 in Photoshop CS6, the Photoshop window won't go to the back, behind the FF window.
It works as normal in Photoshop CS3 and CS5.1 I have to either: 1) manually move the PS window off to the side so it won't obstruct my view of FF before I start FF, or 2) Use FF in one of the other PS versions I'm running Mac OS 10.7.4 on the latest MBP (non-retina), 2.3 GHz, 8 gb RAM |

We've never observed such behavior with CS6. Could you please post a screenshot?

OK, screenshot attached.
You can see the Photoshop window in front, however you'll see that the current document running via the menu is Filter Forge. The Filter Forge window is in back of the Photoshop window. Also, when I was taking the screenshot, I went to the Finder and the Photoshop window stayed in front in the Finder too. ![]() |

Thanks for the screenshot, this is very unusual.
Please reproduce the situation on your screenshot, click the 'Apply' button and note the applying progress bar which shows the transfer of the image into Photoshop: does it appear on top of all winfows or between Photoshop and the main FF window? (you can post a screenshot of this progress bar as well). |

After I hit "Apply", the photoshop and filter forge windows both disappear and all I can see is my finder. If I click on the photoshop or filter forge icons in the dock, then I'll get a progress bar pop up, but no windows. It is hard to capture it with a screenshot because the screenshot isn't very informative. I don't know if I can record this via quicktime; if I can, I'll try making a youtube video of it.
I did do some troubleshooting and found out that if I have my photoshop document docked as a tab in that main photoshop window, this will not happen. However, I purposely have the "Open Documents as Tabs" unchecked in Preferences > Interface because I have a hard time reading the document names when they're grey tabs. |

Here is the screen recording:
http://youtu.be/Opb7c_nMn-0 Events: 0:19 I click the Apply button 0:25 Both FilterForge and Photoshop windows disappear, showing nothing but the finder, however you can still see "Filter Forge" next to the black apple in the top menu 0:34 I click the FilterForge icon in the dock: nothing happens 0:36 I click the Photoshop icon in the dock, and then that brings the windows to the front. |

Thank you. I've asked our testers to reproduce this.

Well, the video was worth more than a thousand words
![]() We've reproduced and confirmed the issue. While this is being fixed there is a workaround: you need to maximize the Photoshop document window before starting Filter Forge. |
