I opened the Filter Forge Application as a stand alone rather than the plugin and was able to get it to download filters directly. But while downloading HDRI filter it crashed again.
Filter Forge never crashed until my trial period was over. And now I seem to have a lot of trouble with crashes and bugs. It's very frustrating. I love the filters, but need to get this stuff working consistently or it's just not worth all the $$ I spent for the product. I do read through the forums and attempt to be proactive in resolving minor issues, but all the crashing and bugs are getting to be a time killer. $$ and time are two things I don't like to waste. Any help or additional resources to read is appreciated. E |

RetroYeti, your message is hard to understand. What do you mean by "I only receive (one) the Default Filter "? What is a "HDRI filter"? Please be more specific if you want a competent reply.

GMM Moderator - Default filter seems pretty clear to me. You click download and the filter variations load and the first one in that group of filters is the Default. It says DEFAULT right on it.
There is no one filter that I can pin-point that has caused the many crashes that have occurred since purchasing this product. CFandM's question was more competent than your reply actually. HDRI by Betis is the name associated with the filter I loaded from your site. I had it loaded before without any problem with that specific filter. -- I've had to reload filters 3 times because of crashing and yes I know I can save a back-up of my filter library. If there are known filters that crash either pc or mac shouldn't there be a better way to document that within the Forge Filter site than simply making note of it in a forum? Such as in the case of Van Gogh Filter? I am paying for this service. It's not a freebie that I'm helping you beta test or I would have gladly been working harder to document this type of incident. When this happens I'm in the middle of trying to get my work done so I don't appreciate being told I have to be more clear or specific to get a competent reply. How about saying you still need more specific information from me? I shouldn't have to work this hard to use a product I'm paying for - a professional product. I did let you know that opening the Filter Forge application directly and loading the filters from there is what seems to have solved the issue with the filters not properly downloading. But then it crashed while downloading HDRI by Betis. It's working today. I was able to reopen it after this last crash without any problem and it's working fine for now. I will continue to use the service because I really do like the service. I will also try to make note while using Filter Forge as to what I'm doing when issues might arise. Please try to be more clear and specific (& courteous to a paying customer) as well. E |

Still no details from you except the filter name... The filter works fine for us.
What error message do you get with the crash? What are the steps to reproduce it? |

It's working properly now. I'll document any steps and any error messages if it occurs again.
Thanks. E |
