A very bad new...

I'm so sad. I got today a very bad new. Mardar's Dad died yesterday. My condoleances to Mardar's family ! I'm with you Mardar !

Mardar, I am very sorry for you loss too. I know what this is as one month ago my grandmother died too.

Hi everyone. Thank you so much for your kind postings. It has been a very sad time here and it will be a while before I get back to anything normal again, but I will get there. All my energy now is going to my Mom. She is home now and she is getting better. I was afraid I was going to lose her too for a while there. She is so much better now that she is back home. I have been staying with her and nursing her the best I can. She is a tough little lady and determined to get better.

My Dad was put to rest with full military honors on Wednesday and we will miss him so very much. He was always our hero and the center of our hearts. He will never suffer again and for that we are grateful. He had more pain towards the end than anyone should ever suffer. I will forever remember the good times we had and the wonderful things he taught me about life. It's hard to get over losing such a huge figure in our lives, but we will take it one day at a time and we will heal in time. I'm very glad we had the time to get to say everything we wanted to say to each other before he passed. So Semper Fi To my Dad and I'll be back soon.

It's a sad reality to life which most of us struggle with and the only thing that helps is time, happy memories and the thoughts that part of him lives on in you. It is hard not to speak in cliche, so without going on too much, all the best to you and your family.

Hi everyone. I am back and things are getting better. My Mom is on the mend much faster than the Doctors first thought. She is a tough little Lady. It is still sad about my Dad. I keep expecting him to call me in the evenings and talking with me. I will miss our 2 hour rap sessions more than anything. We talked about everything under the sun. He was hard of hearing and he could hear me better on the phone than he could face to face, so he would call a couple times a week just to shoot the breeze. He was a very smart guy and had a very wicked sense of humor. We laughed and had some very interesting conversation over the last few years. That I will really miss. But we are carrying on the best we can.

I am finally back home again, but I am only two minutes away from Mom's house, so she is just a call away if she needs me. My sister is living with her for awhile, so we are keeping a close eye on the home nest. Getting back to work helped a lot. Routine sometimes takes the edges off the pain. Getting back to creating graphics will help too I think.

Thanks everyone again for your thoughts and concerns for me and my family. I really appreciate it very very much.

Gigi I'm glad to be back too. I have missed all your beautiful creations, and your friendship.

Morgan, Mom is a trooper, but I am realistic and know she is still very sick. Her heart is not in very good shape, but I am trying very hard to make sure her final years(I hope it's years) are full of as much happiness as possible.

Gene I also have thought daily of things I want to tell Dad. He was such a huge part of my life that the hole he left will take a long time to heal. I lost my younger brother 6 years ago, he was only 51 years old, and that hole in my heart still stings a lot. But I find myself thinking of the good times we had more and more and less about the loss. I know it will be the same with my Dad. It just takes time.

Carl and SpaceRay don't want to leave you out. Your kind words do help, even cliche words. They are comforting just the same.

Has she forgotten us ? Or maybe she was tired of creating FF stuff and she needs to do something else ? She also does not answer to my emails. I really don't know what's happened to her. I do not appreciate this silence.

She maybe unwell or another situation that stops her responding

Welcome back Mardar, I have seen you are here and also that your computer was broken, and that explains possibly why you could not answer to the emails of Ghislaine and not be here, I hope that your computer is now fixed and working again

Anyway, as said, welcome back.

I feel so excited to be back here. I really missed all of you too. I am still in the middle of loading up my new computer, but I did take time to make a Monster for the thread.
