The process of making the transformation from a liner grid to the shapes you see involves exponential mapping of complex numbers.

This simple formula h(w)= wα = w(2πi+log 256)/(2πi) has something to do with it

Thanks very much for the answer Morgantao, I knew it was a grid BUT there was something different and strange on the grid, and you have pointed it out very well, it is exponential and/or fractal grid

Please, can you be so kind to tell me if there is available some kind of translator to be able to translate this articles in the links you have put to plain and simple english? Because I can´t understand anything

By the way, I do NOT want to BUILD a filter or software to be able to do this

Is there available any software that can create this source exponential grids and then make the exponential mapping as shown in your example ?
