Just remember..
From 0 to 30 you are climbing up the hill...
Past 30 you are over the hill...and its all downhill from there...
When you hit 60 you get back up to the top of the hill...
Then when you are the age of 90 or 100 or more you forget why you are on a hill and the fact is at that age does that hill really mean anything anymore...

you missed the divides Steve did say in the post / = divide

84 x 6 = 504
504- 4 = 500
500 / 10 = 50
50 + 17 = 67
67 / 2 = 33.5
33.5 + 0.5 = 34
34 x 3 = 102
102 + 15 = 117
117 / 3 = 39

but was for fun anyway and I haven't done any super complicated maths in years.. not since school that I'm aware of that is.. um.. lol now I need to mentally work out how you worked it out like that.

.....the way you are doing it would have to be written out something like below in order to get 39 from it.....otherwise, the way you wrote it comes out to 518.6..... .....

((((((((84x6-4)/10)+17))/2)+.5)x3)+15)/3=

.....or.....


(3((((((84(6))-4)/10)+17)/2)+.5))+15)/3=


Without the parenthesis, the values on each side of the "x" and "/" are single values that are solved first.....then the all the addition and subtraction is done.....

hehe, it's been so long since i had any math classes that i wouldnt dare argue it with you, but i do know how bel was looking at it and i tend to like her way of doing it, not that it's 'right', but that it's just simple. why complicate it with 'rules'?
