Clicky!

Excellent! That's one browser I'm definitely NOT going to use, EVER! smile:evil:

Why Crapa, it's the same old thing as usual really. I mean I read the part on the *clicky* link there and it's same as 1,000,000 others.

Which is why I'm not using 1,000,000 others... and why I'm not going to use Chrome! Same old thing to me! Besides, it reeks of a total data-mining! smile;) smile:-p

----Not to totally change the subject, but what's the point, I just have IE 6, and I get like 1 pop up ad a week if that. If it weren't for the fact that people's info gets stolen by the laptop-full weekly ha-ha, I wouldn't even care if they tracked me around online. It ain't gonna cause pop ups, and it ain't gonna make a broke mf like myself buy anything anyways. smile:p

I agree 100%...They use the term "open source" sounds like they are using that for a Catch Phrase...From that EULA does not sound like the spirit of true open source....

Exactly!!! Google is the absolute worst for throwing their own dead-end crap into your searches and wasting your time..... smile:evil:

----Not sure what that's about, but if you mean pay-for-placement in the rankings google is probably the least offensive of the search engines for that.
----What is the whole point of google making a browser though, what is their goal, and meanwhile, how does it make for a better/easier net experience than plain old IE ?

lol. well, i'm glad to see you all love it smile:dgrin:

actually, i've run into 'call homes' from google before also. i think it was their toolbar. didnt like that idea at all. they're starting to get as controlling as M$ and that's just not acceptable.

on the other hand, i do like that google seems to be innovative. if they'd stick to the innovative part and get away from the controlling part, i'd be perfectly fine with them.

i still use their search engine as my favorite. i dont think they have an equal there.

oh, and as for the thing in dilla's 'clicky' link, notice near the top where they've said that google made a mistake and is taking that part of the eula out or revising it or something.

Google is notoriously bad for putting useless dead-end crap in front of you when you do searches.....I suppose to do everything they can to direct you to their paying customers.....

I find IE to be alot more efficient.....no comparison as far as I'm concerned.....I'll take "plain old IE" over Google any day of the week!!! smile:)

That's what makes it suck, IMHO.....

M$ might be controlling in its' own way, but at least it doesn't get in the way of everything I want to do.....like Google.....

no, not kidding, especially now that they're using piclens. google is fast, simple and i generally can always find what i want in a hurry.

everything you want to do? odd, i've never had google get in my way. yahoo is the one that annoys me. and i tried ask.com once and didnt like it. so, google for me.

Yahoo and Google both annoy me that way.....throwing all those "sites-to-nowhere" in your searches. It's just one of my pet peeves.....so if I see anything with Google or Yahoo come up in an IE search, I avoid it like the plague..... smile:eek:

Business wise.....I'm sure it is working quite well to "funnel" hordes of people to their paying customers..... smile;)

Well, they don't have their mantra "Don't be evil" for no reason... they ARE evil and try to convince everyone (including themselves) that they're not. smile;) smile:D

That's for sure!!! smile;) smile:D

I think "Data Mining" is a conservative term for what they really do.... smile;) smile:D

I was hoping that M$ was trying to purchase Google just to shut them down and get them out of everyone's hair..... smile;) smile:D LOL....
