I've always had problems getting those little web site drop-down menus to work. Even if I restart in safe mode with all the add-ons turned off the menus won't drop. Anyone else having this problem?

Not sure if I've missed what you're referring to. The only problem I have noticed is very small sliders in some websites that provide controls over certain settings ... which could be Firefox or my mouse or its settings or me.

Where is the Archives dropdown located you've shown?

That Archives dropdown is located on a news page I go to once in a while. But it doesn't matter which web page I'm on, all the dropdowns on all the web pages won't work on my fire fox browser when I click on them. So I simply have no idea what the problem could be.?

It's possible it has something to do with Firefox not supporting Java any more.
