Incendia is a Fractal Engine that allows you to design and explore the realm of 3D Fractals.
I have just now found this software that is FREE to download and is able to make some awesome, excllent and amazing 3D fractals that are not seen anywhere else as far as I know incendia.net Do not miss to see the gallery and look for other images and artworks created with this software in DevianArt and other websites Have anyone of you already know this and have been using it? Thanks |

I have tried it, I was mostly interested in the 3D output.
The 3D module (Geometrica) apparently does not have the same options as the image generation part of the application. I did not see a way in Incendia to save a 3D file of what is visible in the main application. Perhaps this has changed, its been over a year since I tried it, but I will look at it again. |

I was able to export a 3D model from Incendia directly by using "Volume" tab for export without using Geometrica. Now I'm not sure why Geometrica would be needed if its possible to do that in the main application.
It might be worth making a donation to get the version that has the higher resolution output. The free version has 400x400x400 resolution and can easily make huge files with millions of triangles. With a donation the 1200x1200x1200 resolution can be used. This might be useful for 3D printing objects bigger than 50 to 75 mm or so. |
