Political art

Hey DJI, no offense and I honestly don't take a stance on any political matters here, but I feel like regardless of "offtopic" I don't know if this sort of stuff (whether it'd be on one side or another) kinda feels like it doesn't belong here. I don't mean this as going against he flow of things but I just don't see how aggressive politics, scandals feels relevant and suitable on a company software forum, especially when it starts mixing with regular posts over on the recent forum posts.

It's not to say that I'm an authority on it, but it just feels like some of the recent content feels quite inappropriate in such a creative environment/community/company forum like this. In my most honest opinion I'd rather see your cool filters than I see you coming out sounding frustrated or like feeling the need to post stuff like this. I suspect content as such are obvious "triggers" for some folks and I've seen som unproductive discussions arise fr om opposing ideals. It's unfortunate and it's unavoidable. When people get passionate over this, it can seriously topple our collective creative energy, no party wins an internet debate.

Again, I don't hold authority here but I really just put my voice down on it. I don't wanna cause drama and I respect your opinions. My only suggestion here is it's best if you can keep yourself or on a appropriate forum that can handle this sort of content. But again, this is just me, I honestly shouldn't worry. But I just don't want to be on a forum wh ere our passionate feelings end up colliding and causing folks not to enjoy the program we come to love.

I personally consider any posting of political views on these forums to be spam and I think "not recommended" is too mild, because it actually allows it.

If I saw politically motivated threads posted by some anonymous user and not a respected and well-liked (by me) member of the community I would report it.

There are loads of other places that people can go to in order to discuss politics. I think it is inappropriate to allow this forum to be one of them and ask that you take a more forceful position in preventing it.

Heh I'm really stemming fr om an experience I had with controversial material when I was a kid. It just spirals out of control and it starts feeling like somebody's attacking your core beliefs. I remember I had days wh ere I'd be ridden with anxiety just thinking somebody's writing some kind of super critical writing on some controversial posting I made earlier. That was years and years ago. I guess this kinda happens with many who spend some time of their day juggling through the internet.

It's just a fact of life we're all going to be different thinkers and believers. At least what's nice here is that we kinda have a shared love of using FilterForge.
