The enemy of my enemy is my friend?

This photo makes me think of all kinds of hackneyed sayings like "politics makes strange bedfellows" and "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" etc. Just a few years ago Michell Obama and Pres. George W. Bush wouldn't have posed for a photo like this for anything in the world. But now they have a common enemy. Or I should say that the establishment has the enemy. I truly hope that Pres. Donald J. Trump tips over every applecart in Washington D.C. A changes American politics forever. The people are the state not the government not the federal reserve not the power eliets and certainly not the left and right wing political orgainizations. And Pres. Trump has given them all a deliciously blunt reminder of that fact.
