I have found that in 1865 there was this cool and interesting Semispheric Typewriter Machine that did not know it existed, as I have always seen plain rectangular typewriters

Surely this does not include Wordprocessor smile;) smile:D

Yes Skybase, you're right, Charles Babbage machines are interesting too. SpaceRay photo is something very particular because of its unusual shape. I really like this photo. It could be something to re-propose, maybe with a bit more complexity, also nowadays. It could attract the attention of many people. smile;)

By the way - it's generally accepted that the Antikythera mechanism has a shot at being the first mechanical calculator (probably not "computer", but hey maybe, to the open-minded) as of 150-100 B.C.!

There was an automaton invented by Al-Jazari in 1206 too, that was pretty cool. And punchcards were actually invented in 1801 for the Jacquard loom! The prehistory of computation is actually pretty excellent.
