New Photoshop CC available June 2013 only with monthly subscription

Note: Photoshop CS6 will remain available for sale (non-subscription) and there will be for sure a Photoshop CS7, so this is not a replacement, just a new version, and Photoshop will continue available and upgraded as a desktop application without any subscription to Adobe Cloud.

I have just seen that it seems that a new Photoshop version is going to be launched to promote and motivate more people to subscribe to the Adobe Cloud, and be able to join the benefits from it.

It will be the same as Photoshop CS6 Extended but with many new added features that will be available for non adobe cloud subscribers next year in the coming photoshop upgrade

It seems that I was wrong as there has been some confusion on the news and what Adobe really wants to do with this Photoshop CC and now I have found that the real news is that there will NOT be any Photoshop CS7 or any other, and so this is really a replacement for any future Photoshop version.

The note I have put at the beginning is true that Photoshop CS6 will continue to be a selling application and will not be taken away from shops, BUT it seems that there there will NOT be a Photoshop CS7, just ONLY Photoshop CC

The title is now wrong, as it seems that this new Photoshop will NOT be ONLY for Adobe Cloud users as there will be also an introductory special offer for already owners of photoshop that you pay monthly (with a yearly account) and do not have to pay for the adobe cloud.

This comes from the official and main Photoshop website that is made by Adobe, so is a direct news and blog from the Adobe company

So if you do not like to have an Adobe cloud account and you already have any of these Photoshops CS3 to CS6, you will only pay 10$ month (120$ one year)

It seems that they do not want to continue with the 18-24 months release and make the release of new features as soon as they are ready, but do not want to do it for free so they have thought about this subscription only way, wich has many advantages and of course some disadvantages too.

So they will release any new feature as soon as they have it and do not have to wait until a full version to come as before happened
