Pixel Bender Kernel Accelerator plugin for After Effects (AE) CS6

Skybase made this thread Goodbye Pixel Bender to tell the very bad news that Pixel Bender discontinued in PS, AE CS6

Although all was not lost as Adobe authorized to any other company that would want to make a bridge, plugin, adaptor or whatever that could make Pixel Bender be compatible and work in CS6.

Well the good news has happened and there has been someone that has already made a plugin for After Effects that will make Pixel Bender compatible in CS6 (although regretably this does not work in Photoshop ) and you can keep using it, it seems that is not yet 100% compatible with all and every single one of the available filters for Pixel Bender but it seems that is 90%, which is very good to have something like this.

Although is true that is not compatible with Photoshop, it does NOT mean that you can´t use it for using it like before in Photoshop to create still 2D images instead of animated pixel bender video in AE as you can export PSD and Jpeg image, so you could use it probably in probably nearly same way. I am not sure as I have not tried it myself yet.
