Today I picked up in my plum tree 16 plums to make plum upside-down cake.
For those interested, I give you my recipe. ½ cup melted butter 1 cup brown sugar 16 washed plums, halved and pitted 3 eggs 1 cup of sugar ½ cup orange juice ½ and 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon of baking powder Preparation In an ungreased aluminum mold, put the butter and brown sugar. Mix and spread evenly. Add the plums skin side above. In a large bowl, mix with a mixer eggs, sugar and orange juice for 2 minutes at medium speed. In another bowl, mix the flour and baking powder. Add flour mixture to your first mix and stir by hand until smooth and creamy. Add this over the plums. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes. Let cool a little. Then invert a large plate. A true delight! Bon appétit! ![]() visit https://gisoft.ca |
