Already! You don't mess around. Nice job. Smile You used Bryce for that? When do you start your class?

yep did that in Bryce, class starts on Monday. Wanted to have a little bash at Bryce but still having some issues with the differences with the set up of Bryce and Vue 6. Am hoping this class will help my brain jump over that hurdle..

Plus had a few software issues when installing Bryce so needed to do a test run to make sure it really was working.

Just checked out the feature list. Looks like some very important additions to Bryce. I don't see how you could get by without it.

lol well what happened was I have a new version of Daz3d 2.2 and Bryce has version 1.76 built in and somehow they clashed so I had to take them both off and just install Bryce with the older version of Daz, am hoping I can go back to the 2.2 version but will do that after I have done the class.

um I never paid that for it either, think I caught it in the sale at around $40. The hexagon 2.5 that is, has a second life sculpty function as well, was one reason I got it, plus cause of Bryce smile:D

So Bryce works as a plugin for Daz? Will it run standalone? Is Hexagon a plugin for Bryce or Daz?

nope to both, Daz3d kinda has a link button inside the programs, they are all stand-a-lone, but with I think they call it bridging.

think you can get Bryce 5.5 for free, and Daz3d is still free. Just I had the newer version installed than the one packed up with Bryce and Hexagon, think I managed to mess something up when I was installing them, so they clashed with the new version of Daz I had installed. Seen as Hexagon was working I just uninstalled Bryce and Daz and started again with them two. All is well for now though.

So long as Ron doesn't jinx my pc smile:-p

does downloading it, opening and shutting the software count?

Am hoping if I get the hang of Hexagon then Blender and True space will be easier to use.

Here is a bunch of stuff you can install.

If your computer starts running too fast I recommend installing some movie copying software.

Hang in there. It's nice when the tools, hotkeys and things like navigation become second nature. I will still get Maya in some kind of weird mode and have to figure out what's up but it doesn't happen nearly as often as it used to.

You can do that now. All it takes is ILM and a half a million bucks and you can see you texture in 3 months.
