ZBrush is just as good and I think it is only 299usd.

its 500 usd and 900 ausd so its 150 ausd cheaper than mudbox - it's so hard to compare without an intimate working knowledge of each, i suppose it doesn't matter i can't afford either LOL smile:D

The ZBrush trial is only for 30 days. smile:(

Anyone want to try my new photo filter? Here is how it works.

Use the 'Evaluate Channels' checkbox in conjunction with the 'Red/Green/Blue/Blend' slider to determine which channels have the most contrast. Then use the individual 'Add RGB Channel' sliders to build a contrast map - to view the map select the blend setting of the 'Red/Green/Blue/Blend' slider.
The 'Evaluate Channels' checkbox should then be disabled and the 'Increase Contrast' slider used to add the desired amount of contrast. Fine-tuning can be done using the 'Add RGB Channel' sliders.

Well Joseph the teacher for week 7 posted some techniques he used for making some of his art work and I kinda felt I had to do something more 3d, granted it's not perfect but for a first attempt I love it smile:D.

I like the new one but there is just something about HDavies_week7_Domes_small.jpg.

smile:D Thanks Ron, I kinda found the colours a bit to harsh that's why I wanted to redo it, I like both but I prefer the second colour set more.

lol well still not made a tie shop though and I need to check to make sure no one has used that name, but still I so need to make heaps of textures as well.

I'm not really having any luck making up tie store names so what if you don't sell ties at all and sell pasties instead.

Lol because Zazzle doesn't stock them? That a good enough reason smile;) smile:D

It's just that I clicked 'Agree' to the double secret EULA contract when I first signed up. This is where we all agree that StevieJ will never receive credit for any of the contribution he has made to the FF bottom line or the FF community. I even have even learned the KSD (keep steve down) secret handshake. I didn't want to do it but they forced me to - with incentives. smile:devil:

Not so fast. Unbeknown to you there is a completely separate double secret EULA contract that deals exclusively with you. As soon as you registered, we all (except for StevieJ) had to sign off on it. Your contract states that we are all to treat you like a Goddess, be uncharacteristically nice and give you things. smile:) I don't know how FF comes up with these things but I'm allowed to tell because everyone has agreed to make me the secret teller. smile:|

I like the positioning on the first one so I might redo it in another colour, just don't like the colour so much... might mess with it tomorrow and see what I come up with, yay for being able to save lol!

Someone else was telling me they use/used Bryce and said go for Vue 6 because Bryce is loosing steam were as Vue is getting more steam.. only prob is with vue I want the $399 one and that means I need to save more so might be next month or the month after or even next year before I can get that one smile:( .
