Terragen or Vue6?
Terragen .9 not bad but you need to commercial version, version 2 not sure only downloaded the trial of it last night, trying to decide if its worth the extra $200 for it, or if I should just save for Vue 6 instead. Nothing wrong with a little insanity ;)

Them are just in the trial ones Ron, you can down load the trials for 60 days but only render up to 640x480 or something like that, and you can't save the world you make etc but you can at least keep the pictures. Nothing wrong with a little insanity ;)

yep you build them up in layers but it's not complicated like Terragen V2, with that one its like building a filter forge filter adding bits etc.. mind I should find that easy!! Um maybe I should try the trial of that one again sometime soon too lol.

Terragen is done in layers too, but both versions work differently. Mind am still learning with this one. Nothing wrong with a little insanity ;)

I have been looking at peoples galleries both packages, Vue 6 and Terragen and it's like wow, MysticBlueRaven (Lynn) has a link to her Terragen creations, I probably should ask her for some tips.

It might be best to generate the cg effects in Vue then bring that and a photo into photoshop do do the compositing. @ronviers
