Wow... it's quiet in here smile:(

Hello??? (echo: hello hello hello)

Well, in case anyone passes by, I have found a link to a sponsor in the DAZ 3D forum who has some (not all) of my creations I made for Bryce 5 a few years back. So, Ahimsa, if you can or would like to use these for your own projects here's the link:

Thank you! So you are the one who made these. I happened to have downloaded these some time ago, but I don't know which CD or DVD they would be on. I love the cave, the coral, the plox, and all the rest. Thanks smile:)

This thread went dead without you. Seriously, it's just not the same here without you.

Yep, but I haven't been back there for quite a while. I seem to get side-tracked by a good rpg that just came out or some other new project.

I'm glad you got them then, they were fun to make... until NWN came out smile;)

Yep, that's what Craig is doing with this one... making a mod for us all to play together. But if you mean like right now, there are some free crpgs that can be fun if you like hack and slash... not my favorite kind, but fun for those that want to go run around killing monsters as a group. I'll go check some out... played one awhile back, an anime style rpg, but it wasn't so much fun playing alone or with the majority of players who seemed as if they were for the most part school kids smile:-p

EverQuest? I've never played it because when it came out so did the first NWN game and I was hooked on that smile:)
But I love huge games, hard to get board in them, even when you play alone, always something to explore and discover smile:D

I played Rappelz (spelling?) and still have a character there that has over 1 million gold and a young horse that should be ready to train as a mount soon, but I hate the way my lady always screams when she is fighting, like those tennis players do before hitting the ball. Gets on my nerves smile:-p

I just checked out EverQuest.....and it's not the one that I had heard about. There is a really good reletively new online game that has great character creativity, ever-expanding worlds, work together or against one another, endless weaponry, totally addictive, etc.....but can't remember what it's called. Same for me, Manon... I hate being whacked from behind, seems I always turn the wrong way and die before I find who's doing it. And yes, I get seasick too. Oblivion is either First or 3rd person, as is NWN2. Now if we could find a FREE online game till we can all get to play Craig's NWN2 mod, that would be fun smile;)

I have a lot of games I can't play anymore. I was fine until one day my son and I were playing Spyro and suddenly we both ran to seperate bathrooms and vomitted. After that certain games do us in. This was about 8 years ago when my son still lived here. We played video games together a lot.

I have a Silent Hill game I can't play because it starts in first person, switches to third, then back to first when he goes in and out the apartment in the first level. Never got past that.

Carl, what games do you play?

I've played and enjoy many games including Silent hill, Tombraider, but their not my favorites, Elder Scrolls is possibly my favorite, other ones I enjoyed are 007 Goldeneye, Halflife, Driver, FIFA, Invisible War was fantastic for it's time the first one I'd seen with floppy doll technology......... so a range......... probly the one type I don't like is 2 character battles one you know the ones that you press a million buttons and your character swivels around a couple of times and your hands explode destroying your oponent, they get boring very quickly smile:)

What in the world does that mean? smile:?:

I don't care for that type 2 player game either, but I did play one with Daniel because he liked it so much. Well, until I kicked his butt way too often. smile:D

I like Resident Evil, Silent Hill 1, and Tomb Raider 1 - 5. Tomb Raider is my most favorite of all. I liked Soul Reaver: Legacy of Kain and another game that I can't think of the title, but the guy wakes up in a scientific facility and has to find his way out. There's more to it than that.

I want to try Elder Scrolls

everquest, world of warcraft, asheron's call, ultima online and a few others are the big names in MMORPG's (massive multiplayer online role playing games). but, those are all pay-for types with a monthly subscription rate. there are a lot of free rpgs, some of them massive and there used to be a TON of MUD's (multi-user dungeons) out there too. havent explored any of those lately, so not sure what the fare is in those these days. there are also some free graphic types, usually tile graphics, available as well. and there are even a few free 3d realms out there. i forget the name of the last one of those that i played, but it was fairly decent. and, for something more along the anime lines, you could try some of the free korean rpg's. some of those are fairly decent.

the biggest of the biggest right now is World of Warcraft by Blizzard. that one has a HUGE following and is supposed to be very well done and quite entertaining. i havent tried it and wont. it's not that i dont think it would be fun or entertaining; quite the opposite, i'm afraid i'd get too involved smile:)

there are also quite a few persistent worlds for never winter's night 2 now. that may be option we could all get into. you buy the game for about $30 and the persistent worlds are then available online if you know where to go. i found a list of those by following links starting with the atari site. the persistent worlds are user-run worlds. users make them, post the worlds online for everyone to play in and leave them up, persistently. how involved or massive those might be i dont know. havent tried any yet.

what i need right now, is some good basic tutorials for NWN 2 on module making. like i said elsewhere, the docs on all this are lacking. i've got a mod going and it works, but i'm lacking some very simple things to really make it a decent place to play... like, how to create spawn points for critters. so, if anyone has links to tuts for NWN 2, please, post them. i found some in spanish, but i dont read spanish smile:)
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

I don't know if it exists, but I thought it would be cool if there was a game by which we could import FF textures to customize our characters....which would end up being half the fun smile:)

Is there anything like a "Dungeons & Dragons" type of multi-player game where you have alot of options for characters, weapons, power development, and strategies???

I couldn't get that involved in it. I was thinking that it might work if we all picked a certain time for a couple of hours each week to play around in it together.....and exercise some self-control smile;) smile:D

If no one really cares about the "character" thing.....how about a strategy game like "Command & Conquer"....."Total Anihilation".....or something more simple like "Risk"???

Craig, check out the graphics of the mech battle at the end of this video (Maximize screen when "Armored Core" segment starts).....I can't wait for actual gameplay to be like this.....
