And no I don't know much about cars.. they have wheels, and are made of metal and a mixture of plastic etc etc... and they go fast depending, and can make loads of noise too... um depending on the engine... um.. okay I think I should go to bed now too lol. Seen as I have finished the marble filter now Nothing wrong with a little insanity ;)

Hey, I would suggest checking out how Maivir did this one.....and beg, borrow, steal.....errr.....learn some of concepts towards helping your own marble creation.....because I think it is the best marble so far.....but I know you can do better!!!

It turned out well but it would have been better If I had used better tomatoes. I used fresh ingredients but it is hard to get good tomatoes here.

Yes and no. I am confused about that whole area. Two competing apps, ZBrush and mudbox make me wonder what is going on. It seems like I should know more about textures and lighting than I do but for now it remains a mystery.  In other words, I know what I want the textures to look like but I do not know how or where they get applied, or even how they are generated.
Do any of the stories you have floating around in your head have creatures in them? @ronviers |

Hmmm. hard to say because it deals mostly with the interior. I do not know yet how much detail I will be adding. I am ready for it to be over because I have stopped learning new things. It has become simply practice. Practice is good because I need to get fast but I would rather be learning new concepts. Have you had any time to get more familiar with Dreamweaver? Nice try Steve, but I guess you haven't seen the Bob Costas walk cycle. Famous among animators, it is the standard mo-cap sequence used in the cg and gaming industry. Once you get a look at that I think you will understand why Carl cannot go five minutes without bringing up Costas. Maybe if you could post the walk cycle of the first model you posted (e7b24b112a44fddL.jpg) you might have better luck.

You realize he gets residuals each time they use his walk cycle. The back legs of the brontosauri that stampede down the mountain in King Kong – those are Bob Costas leg movements. The shoulder movements in the third person sections of 'Resistance, Fall of Man' those too are the actual movements of Bob Costas. I'm telling you, if you have watched a movie with vfx or played a game made in the last six years you have been watching Bob Costas. Costas is a very rich man. @ronviers |
