The caddy would be much easier to model with all those planer surfaces. The Lamborghini does not have a single planer surface. I think the Italians hate planer surfaces.

Carl, how is the Dreamweaver going? Do you have a domain with hosted space to practice on? If you do, what is the url so I can see your wip? I have a domain you can use to practice on – it's not being used for anything yet. interboundgraphics.com It is parked at godaddy.com.

I wish. I found it on one of them sites that people upload textures to for use as avatars about 3-4 years ago. I believe it's a snip from some cool artist's art work.. think I found the original image about 2 years back but can't remember who it was by now smile:(.

LOL if I made it, it would look like a texture sample at the moment. Most of my art work is pencil, pen, charcoal etc., and in the attic somewhere..

It won't really be from scratch since you learned a lot from the last attempt. You have a big hill to climb but I'm sure you will succeed. I have been thinking about learning more in that area too. I do not have Dreamweaver but there are a lot of opensource apps that I can use. I will wait to see how you start then follow your lead. smile:)

Hoarder here smile:(, although I think I have lost some bits of art I did over the years. Some are copy drawings I did when younger, I went through a period were I was copying art I liked and then tweaking it.

You can find a lot of discrepancies but so far that has been the biggest challenge. To constantly balance what is shown in the drawings with what is shown in photographs.

This is not true. As demonstrated with your art and your work here at ff. It must be the very technical nature of a lot of what's involved with the web aspect that is making it slow going. From what I gathered from the IBM website that had the case study, websites have become extremely advanced technically.

Still not sure but I get the impression from the source images that I will be doing the entire car, inside and out. smile:) On the one hand I hope so but on the other I will be glad to move on to more organic shapes. I am mostly looking forward to doing the human female.
