Mind when they finished Firefly there was a rumour that a few episodes had been shelved when Fox cut the contract. Would be nice to see them if they haven't been aired, mind thats if it wasn't just a rumour smile:( .

I like Sg1 very much but due to RL have had to miss entire seasons. That's another one I will have to catch on dvd one day. There is one character, name escapes me, in SG Atlantis that bugs me - making it difficult to watch.

LOL yep, and a strange one at that, plus bag's of video's. The collection consists of Sci-fi, Fantasy, comedy, cartoon's/Disney etc, with the odd horror/sci-fi'ish fantasy, like pitched black etc.

Have you seen 'The Tulsa Luper Suitcases' movies? They look interesting but hard to get in a format that will play in the States. I wish I had time to delve into that story – very intriguing. I had not heard of it before. The project seems like one of those things that would require a lot of time and thought to fully appreciate.

Is Manga the same as Japanese anime? What is your favorite manga movie? I don't know what Disc-world is either. Is it a series?

Is Eureka still on? I got to watch all of season one but nothing after that. I enjoyed that one.

Yep, kinda. Means more Japanese Comic. I like a lot of them. Vampire Hunter D, Ghost in a Shell, Akiri, and a lot of the mini ones.

Eureka is pretty good although not sure if it's finished for good now smile:(, they did two series of it.

Nope not watched Lost.. well I watched a few bits but felt um.. lost smile:D . Clashed with other stuff was watching, like Battlestar Galatica, and stuff like that, so never really got to watch much of Lost, just the odd episodes which didn't really help.

What bug's me though is with Sci-fi/fantasy programs first episode is normally like a let's meet the main characters, and people watch that then think nah it's rubbish I wont bother watching any more. I always watch at least 3 to make my mind up if I love or hate a Sci-fi/fantasy series. Mind I don't use that with a lot of other TV programs lol. Cause with some of them watching one episode is enough.

Yep you have to settle into it, I found farscape like that - mind you they started flipping it all over the schedule and then just using it to fill gaps and out of order it was very frustrating, they did the same with 4400.

I heard in some parts of America Firefly didn't do very well. Think that's one of the reasons it didn't last that and Fox dropped the contract smile:(. There is still so much to tell with Firefly too smile:(, and the movie made you feel like there should be more to come.

Think my problem is I tend to make filters I like, and don't follow the helpful guide lines on how to get an editors pick that Dilla did. I should find time to read through now I know more of the functions. Or just carry on with my mad experimentations smile:D.

Most of the things taught in the guidelines or snippets you can discover for yourself eventually anyway. I avoided the tutorial threads and would only check a snippet if I failed at doing something myself. smile:) Then again, I'm one of the least qualified to give advice.

The tip about tight controls is a good one because a lot of ff users use the variations button to start with. My rule is that one in three clicks (at most) of the variations button should return something interesting.

True, okay will hit that and see how far I get away from that image without totally destroying the concept.

I have a bad habit I know of to many choices and possibilities with the filters I do. But I love the amount of possible variations smile:D

Sometimes if you can't get it to work out then the filter should be broken into more than one. That's what I had to do with my mail and exoskeleton filters.
