Well this is my take on the whole thing - I object to people claiming work by others as there own original work [ my work is scattered around particularly the concrete filters ] - I put filters into the library in the belief that people would use them as part of there creation not merely to render off and sell [granted naively ], whether it's the presets or hitting the random button is irrelevant to me. I'm sick of hearing about renderosity/ and the other sellers, as far as I'm concerned what done is done and the future is what is relevant. The threads on the eula changes has been a slanging match of who know more about copy right laws, attacks on Fred who has from August brought the subject up in a calm rational manner, have been offensive.A focus on solving the problem to everyones satisfaction has been diluted by personnel attacks. I'm irritated that certain people in the forum find plagiarism acceptable, I never agreed that by submitting to the library I give away the copyrights to any user to claim copyright. Giving away textures is merely rubbing salt in the wounds credit or not - give away something they create themselves, not others without even the curtsy to see how the author feels about it. Oh, ok. So if I don't upload I can save pretty much as many as I need to. I doubt I will ever share that filter as it is creating so many different fabric types and designs. A few of my filters are able to do that and I won't say which ones or if they are still a part of the library. It's a shame it came to this.

I see your point Carl. I just don't think though that if someone creates their own designs with my filters that they shouldn't be allowed to sell them as textures. On filters where the randomize button creates a sellable texture everytime, I suppose on those restricting the use would be somewhat acceptable...to me not, but maybe to others. My filters rarely produce anything useable when you use randomize, with those you have to still do work to get something nice from it.

I backed away from the Eula threads as they just keep going over the same arguments and yes, who knows more about copyright law. There have been some nasty posts too that I didn't care for. If I could put things into words better I would have said something, but these freakin' blonde roots are sucking all the brain cells dry.

That's exactly what the new EULA will do.....all straight results produced by a texture will be copyrighted property of the author whether they are a preset or not.....so any randomized or manual result. Personally, I think this is going to be great for authors to make some money off of them by selling copyrights.....

No, the background is taking forever to render and the way the DAZ environment set is made it looks like crap. I'm working on it right now though. Hope to have it done in a few days. Want it just right.

Umm no tigers but some pretty nasty house cats - hey but what happened to artistic license - no native cats in Australia but the feral cats the English introduced have grown larger than house cats and eat all the native birds, marsupials and lizards, so there a curse here like the rabbits, hares and foxes the English decide to bring here too, they all out compete the native wildlife - and don't start me on cane toads LOL sorry umm yep no tigers

Well I managed to get all 7 of the pictures put together and am working on the postwork now. The kids are very happy with everything so far. Hopefully I can post it tonight for you to see.
