When downloading or opening a filter, it doesn<t open the FF app that then opens the filter, nooo... it opens the filter alone as a script! lol

and they make everything so complicated; I have nothing installed but FF and I cant even find where it is..

hmmmm... Try holding down the alt key then repeatedly press the tab key - no kidding. That is how you task switch with windows. Hang in there, you almost have it.

Does the task bar (where the start button is) display the list of apps that are open? For example, if you open Internet Explorer, is it listed on the task bar?

I tryed downloading the app again. idk how many I'll end up running, but I will never believe that isn't one I will finally be able to see. desprate times, desprate mesures.

I'll have a look... if I can find it. I restarted windoz the way you suggested.
After downloading, all I had was the set-up on the desktop. I had asked to install the app on desktop, but it never showed, all there was was the set-up and your filter. when trying to install again for maybe it had faled and why it wasn,t showing up, it said it was already there.

which file is it ?
I have a bin, plugin, ressourse, environment and preview folder, and nowhere I see something that looks like an app at, they look like documents

I found out why your file was showing up as a script: it was being opened by explorer.

I also found which ones are the apps, there seems to be 3. FF, FFx86, FFx86-SSE2.

But for the moment.. none seems to open

there was a FF tab on the dock.. so I clicked it. it said FF was already running. so I did your 3keys thing, but it,s not showing in task. task is empty.


I wonder if the guy is married, his wife must be -veeeery- patient.. or hiding

the beauty of this thread is you can post anything you like and it not really my thread its for who ever wants to say something I'm just one of the people who post in it like yourself - on the flip side alot of people don't read this thread and prefer the serious side of FF and post only in the tecnical threads, so hopefully one of them with far more computer knowledge than me will answer the thread you started but they can be fickle answering and ignoring on a whim, so don't be disheartened if you don't get a reply it happens to us all
