Hi everyone!

Been babysitting so nothing got done here. smile:D Even babysat on what was supposed to be my day off. I feel more like a Mother than a Grandmother. smile:D

I see you are all talking about shows I haven't seen or heard of. So I have nothing to add. I'm so boring!

Big Brother AU is definately better than the US version. I am really enjoying it and learned a new term that I had to look up in the urban dictionary.

I have never heard anything like that before.

Oh, and the AU version will show full frontal nudity of males, but not females. Now there's a switch. smile:D

Ron, Torchwood is cool. If you see the Doctor Who's with Captain John Harkness, he's the New team leader of Torchwood and thats all I will say cause don't want to spoil to much. Plus Torchwood gets mentioned a few times in Doctor Who... not sure if thats classed as a spoiler though.. oops..

I like how different they are. Compared to us Americans, they are much more polite to each other and they have an innocence that we've lost. I wish I lived there.

And our "president" says our constitution is just a G--d--- piece of paper and he has done his best to destroy it and the citizens are pretty much letting him.

Actually, Ron probably would look better in one. I'm short and top heavy so it looks way wrong...at least to me and no you can't see a pic to decide for yourself. smile:D

.. hey guys, I just 'might' be able to try FF after all

I new that few years back was chatted of a possible way to get windoz working on a mac, so I went back and looked into it. it turns out that VPC should manage so I'll have a try. 'if' it works, it will be very very slow.. but better than nothing at all.

I am rather curious about FF now and dont know when the mac version will come out, so it would allow me a peek and see what this can do. if ever too slow or not too good, at least might allow me to access the filters.

I may also try genetica which again isn't available for mac either. If there are other interesting ones, please let me know.

If all goes well, it seems I am about to get an interesting next 30 days : )
If I try myself with a filter and bring it over to show, dont laugh. I have no experience at all..

No laughing. I look forward to seeing your first samples. Carl's Corner is a great place to ask questions but there are also the other forums dedicated to the various aspects of filter development.

Here is the mesh. Notice the tessellation. It has triangles, quadrangles, and ngons (5 or more sides). This has implication for both texturing and rendering but I have not yet learned the guiding principles for either. In other words, it will have to be redone after I learn what I'm doing – no problem.

Ronvier can you be abrupt.

You obviously dont welcome me and take a particular attention to let it publicly show when I post, it's annoying and disrespectful.
I dont know what your issue is, but I'd rather you send me a message an be straight foward so you can get over it.

I think after few times I have enough, the first was already quite harch.

Thanks for the invitation

There is no need to send a message - I will be completely straight forward right here.

If this is about the sleepy icon from your first post, well, you have to admit it was pretty long winded. If Carl or Vlad, or anyone else in any of the FF forums, would have written it I would have posted the exact same reply.

Thank you Ronviers, I appreciate that.

I agree. However I was first invited and linked here being suggested to say more about myself as well as give more precision of project, for some users were questioning it's purpose and my integrety; which after all I have seen, I understand very well.

The detailed email sent and the simple gesture of respecting people's work enough to ask in the first place, already speaking for itself, it was hard to provide more information while making this post smaller..

I assure you that if not for this I would not have had the courage to write this long as I am very lonesome and shy. To just appeir like that among you and leave this, between cute relax small ones of movie chat, really felt out of place; and was not easy for me. So as you might understand, your reply to it, embarrasing.

I have vpc installed and can see it's interface (it's cool, like 2 computers in 1). FF cant be read yet as it seems it's not stand alone.. so I've got a demo PC photoshop which I am about to install in a moment..

It works as stand-alone. I used to always use it inside PS but eventually ff became the primary app. I don't think you should install PS until you get ff working.

Heya Ambrosia! smile:D Nice to see you in the FF forums.

I tried FF for three weeks, heard about Genetica via here and went to see on my first week. Downloaded Genetica on my 3rd week of FF use, and only opened it about 5 times during the one month trial... I love FF cause you don't have to go into the guts and tweak every image to get a different output. So yes I am sometimes slider mad cause of all the variations that can be created from just one Filter (without people having to use the presets for selling in SL or other genes like that)

I have the file named Filter Forge Setup.exe on my desktop.

Double click doesn't open it, dragging it on vpc either, and trying to open with the menu it shows as unselectable.

Still trying to figure it out..
