This is when you were supposed to say - Oh No Ron! 3d is the most interesting topic in the history of the universe and I could never get tired of you going on about it. Tell me more!

I do love 3D and like you sharing, as I have toys in the attic alot is beyond my brain smile;) smile:)

I wish I did understand more, its been such a steep learning curve from thinking a node was something that lived at the bottom of the garden and grants three wishes smile;) smile:D

If it's art I like, then I dig them up, but usually I just run on to them on my way somewhere.

Your from one extreme to another LOL smile:D Van Gogh I think is the greatest artist of all time, every stroke had emotion - I have a Van Gogh filter I've tinkered and fiddled with since I started at FF but it hard to put soul into a pixel that why so much computer art is soulless [ not all thankfully ]gimmicky and artificially moody - you look at the masters you posted and tell me how any filter can capture that expression and passion smile:( smile:| smile:)

I saw this one (Olive Trees) at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, I could not believe I was looking at the brush strokes of Vincent van Gogh. I had an unbelievably beautiful girl with me at the time - I'm not going to tell you what we were doing.smile:-p (no you can't click on that one) smile;)

I agree generally but 3d is the medium of our day. Most of the traditional artists would be using it if they were alive today.

From a purely visual perspective, what is your favorite movie? Forget storyline and plot, which one 'looks' best?

I'm not 100% sure which one I was talking about. This thread is like a black hole, trying to find an old reference is almost impossible. But knowing me it was probably Mirromask. That is one of my favorites, it is a beautiful movie. I also like the looks of Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Also add Alien with H.R. Giger's work.
