And this one can be done without modifying the filter itself

Note as this just changed to page 2, please see the previous 10 images at the end of page 1, thanks

Mixing the above with an inverted and rotated ones could be possible to make this full screen texture

I have found these artworks from the artist MATTHEW J SCHULTZ

That makes squares and circles one inside another filled with colors amd it looks like it would be made with FF bomber

I still have to find a way to make random colors filling of shapes as seen here and I think is possible but have not been able to know how to do it yet

I have found a way to do it with bomber plus and the tint suggestion for random color by Indigo Ray found on the forum

You have to put a group of these below for each of the rings so they change in colors randomly, and have to change the settings of each groups so they give different results for each ring

It is not very good result yet, and is not as good as the second example but is a starting point

For the rings I have used the very well done and perfect Concentric Circles by DJI and modified the Ellipse for a Polygon component

And here is the first result, but in comparison to the above example shown, this obviously is really still like a mess, as I need much more work, and to be able to control more the position and distribution of the objects

I will put the filter when it gives better results

and here is with squares instead of circles

What would be really good is to be able also to have a random controled group of shades of colors that could be customized like in the first example of the 3 with the blue squares

See the five post above before this one, thanks

Have you tried playing around with the Depth Map input?

Thanks for the suggestion, I have thought about it and you are right, and good advice

So after testing it using the Depth Map taken from the Buttons filter by ThreeDee using Perlin noise is really much better than without it and more uniform, so I appreciate your idea.

Rachel Duim has done a lot of work with fractal shapes fr om the N-Flake shapes and have done most of them already wh ere you can use your own images, but there is missing the Sierpinsky fractal triangle that is like this

And then later with that triangle you can build an hexagon filled with these triangles and it is already done a way to tile hexagons together to make a seamless pattern

So the final result could be maybe something similar to this, although the below example does NOT follow the hexagon tiling so is not the same

So I will try to find a way to do it in some way, but with multicolor images and not all the triangles having the same color or source image, I mean as shown on the triangle with 4 colors in the triangle above here

here is a better example using just only Hexagons filled with Sierpinsky triangles with images inside

What I do not like is that only HALF of the triangles are filled with the fractal, the others are just a gradient

Thanks very much, and is much appreciated, athough I have already made it in some way, but it would be maybe interesting if you could have made in a better way than me or with different options and features

here is using FF

will continue adding more things and make the hexagonal Sierpinski

You've made excellent progress. I will look at tiling, and alternating "blank" spaces and maybe do something in FF10. Been heavily into music. You should release it.

Hi SpaceRay
Sorry, just for clarify - this is made in FF ? Or you just found some picture for inspiration ? (respectively with this topic)

And if it not made in FF - this is available to make in FF ??

Thanks, and I have made it possible thanks to your own way to make these kind of shapes, as it is based on your filters, so double thanks

No, is not made in FF, this is why this thread is put in Offtopic, to avoid confusion in that it could be believed that these examples may have been done in FF, so they are for inspiration to make FF filters

Is not yet available but I think it could be possible to be done, as I think that all of this are just based on almond shapes multiplied and scaled

Yes thanks, would be good.
Btw the same effect i could achieve thru 3dsmax by use splines cloning. incl. with "superflow" script\principle.
I'm not good at mathematics though, but logically I think this should be done easily in FF, for those who know the program. If there are problems with this, it would be a strange surprise.
Please try to do it.

Hello, I have tried to do it, but really I am sorry that I do not know how to make it variable, as it is totally fixed and for only one size and does not look good

But thanks for attempt.

Sierpinski Crystals
Uh... simple, no. 74 components. Programming this is not simple. Up to until recently, no one had attempted Koch objects or Sierpinsky objects as far as I know, and the product has been out since 2007. Filter Forge is not your typical programming language, so it has strengths and weaknesses. The biggest strength, your results will look very similar whether it is a 600x600 image or a 10000 x 10000 image. This is a "procedural" method, which most commercial filters don't follow. Also I don't know of another toolkit that can do what Filter Forge can.
