Yeah, he said that he got a nasty virus from downloading porn..... ..... Just kidding.....his computer completely corrupted somehow and Dell was sending someone out to him.....didn't sound good.....

Still sick here and the wedding is soon now. Seems I am the only one that can do floral arrangements so that is keeping me busy.

The kids are ordering the cake finally. Most places want a month notice for a cake that size, but the place they are getting it is ok with it being this short of a notice. It feeds 120 people. Hopefully that will be big enough. Ronda's family are very large eaters...and that's why they are very large. The 8 year old girl wears large in women's sizes and is almost 5 feet tall.

Daniel hates chocolate so it will be a white cake with a light bluish purple frosting, purple roses, blue forget me nots, and black baby's breath. It includes a fresh baked identical top layer next year on their anniversary so they don't have to eat year old cake. We will be having a party for them next year along with the bridal party.

Next May Paul and I will redo our wedding vows on our 30th anniversary. Our theme will be T'ang dynasty. There's a place that will make all the costumes for us according to our designs.


Yes on the photographer, no on the videographer.

I will be giving Daniel away at the beginning of the ceremony where we will be the ones lighting the candles. You want the wedding music? It's by Lesium.

Well the PC problems which was originally thought to be a corrupted OS turned out to be a failed Nvidia graphics card which was good because they came out originally with a new hard drive which gave me nightmares that I would loose everything which as Ron say would be disaster. So after I stopped kissing my computer [ we love each other ] I'm going back through the backlog of emails, god I've missed my computer or Dorothy as she likes to be called

The bending over doesn't happen until after the ceremony and I doubt any costumes will be worn.

The people from Paul's work that were going to come have either died or moved to other states in the last few months...man, if they didn't want to come I would think there would have been easier ways out of getting out of it.

Daniel just left and let me know that very few of Ronda's relatives...young and old have teeth. Some will be taking their teeth out while eating.... He did let me know that Ronda's very gassy relative was not invited, but the super smelly footed one will be there...

if you can, you could let of one those insect bombs a couple of days earlier to the wedding which would keep them under control for the wedding but you'd need to let it off closed rooms and then a day to clear air

Ron, you have to show us something you have made in Maya.

We will be bombing the hall overnight and air it out in the morning. We get the keys to the place the day before the wedding so we can set up and do rehearsals.

We bombed our place and came home to find ants running around and having fun. WTF! Sure, some died, but there are still ants in here. Paul said all the sidewalks in our neighbiorhood have mounds between the cracks. This area is most likely nothing but a gigantic ant colony. The kids live two miles away and it's the same thing there.

We're having baked chicken, roladen, chicken/macaroni/pineapple salad, and carrot raison salad. Ronda's mother and sister will also make some food. Paul and I are making all that I listed.

100 pieces of chicken, 50 roladens, 5 gallons of each salad....oy vey!

Word has been getting around town about our cooking and that is why the entire bank and half the grocery store is coming. They want to try our food. Some of the people know the kids, but they mainly are coming to try our food. Weird!

Back to the teeth...I will have to get Ronda to do the seating arrangements so that Paul and I won't be sitting near the people who will remove their teeth and set them on the table.

Her family is going to have to go without booze for the wedding and reception too. That will be rough on many of them. The rest will just take their meds and should be ok.

In this situation I would back-up all my files and data, write down all the settings on a sheet of paper (cant beat good-old hard copies).
I have an external drive with all of my files. I have a laptop (which is what I use all the time) and a PC (in case the laptop goes caput).
I'm sure that most programme files have a "preferences" or "settings" folder in which you could copy and paste into and external drive, thus saving your settings should you need to re-install any programmes (not verified but could be possible).

It puts the fears in me to think how easy it would be to loose all my photos, filters, client jobs, illustrations etc, it been a warning to be more proactive in safeguarding, I thought having a second backup drive in the computer was enough but evidently that can be corrupted in certain situations as well
