I tried to do that a million times but never could get it to work out. The secret is to limit the gradient to the size of the shape.

I also came up with a cool new toroid that I do not think anyone else is using. I would post it as a snippet but it is probably no better than the one already posted.

Hopefully I can ignore it, although ff is very hard to ignore, and continue working on my maya project and the fusion tutorials. I feel like I have paid my hosting fees to FF for a while with my yin yang filter.  @ronviers |

Thanks guys for the camera help. Yep Craig I had been to that site already and was edging closer to the Canon Eos camera then, but I did a bad thing and looked at the Nikon again and thought um.. okay which one lol!
Am thinking will probably go for the canon one, although have to decide where from cause seen a few nice bundle packs. Ooo Carl watched a bit of that video on the eos 40D thanks for them links!
Nothing wrong with a little insanity ;)

well, i doubt you'd go wrong no matter which one you choosed, bel. canon and nikon have been going head to head for years and are, in general, both very good brands.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

I know it's just so much to pick from lol! But I like the fact the Canon Eos uses SD and SDHC cards rather than the Nikon with just the 4gb SD maximum. One reason is the place I just ordered the Eos from has 4gb and 8gb SDHC's at half price. Plus ordered them on buy now pay um.. next year. Fingers crossed the Camera might end up paying for it's self.

It will not be a problem. Canon has what it calls 'Creative' modes that allow you to take as much control of the settings as you want. To get started it has a point and shoot mode. My Dad has a Canon SLR and has never taken it out of point and shoot mode.

Am thinking the weather is still a bit icky so can learn to use it first before going out and about, maybe try in the garden and close to home first.

Yay got my camera Today!! Woo hoo!! need to upload some of the software then can show some of the images I have um... taken to see what the camera is like and to get the hang of some of the functions. Nothing wrong with a little insanity ;)

Give it time!! Took some photo's when I was um.. 17 years old and they won competitions, so never know..
anyway here is a couple of pictures I took. First is of Rugrat did a close up one as well might upload that later but the original images are a lot bigger.

lol Rugrat is a she and yep she does look totally miffed think its cause I was making a fuss of her before then stood back to take a photo.
First one is a coal tit I think or a finch of some kind most likely? and the second is a starling. Mind I think I should have focused the camera on the coal tit rather than the other birds that were on the bird food, cause that picture is a bit blurry. Nothing wrong with a little insanity ;)
