No. I just looked at my filters again and they still look the best. That's a relief. Oh well, as long as I'm ahead of Carl and Crapadilla in downloads that's all that matters.

Guess what this does. proc guess(float $degrees) { float $rotateClusterY=0.0; sphere -n tempSphere -p 0 0 0 -ax 0 1 0 -ssw 0 -esw 360 -r 1 -d 3 -ut 0 -tol 0.01 -s 32 -nsp 32 -ch 1;objectMoveCommand; lattice -n tempLattice -divisions 2 64 2 -objectCentered true -ldv 2 2 2 -exclusive "Create new partition"; select -cl; for ($iDiv=1;$iDiv<64;$iDiv++) { select -r ("tempLatticeLattice.pt[0:1]["+$iDiv+"][0]") ("tempLatticeLattice.pt[0:1]["+$iDiv+"][1]"); newCluster "-n tempCluster -relative -envelope 1"; $rotateClusterY=$rotateClusterY+($degrees/64); select -r tempClusterHandle; rotate -r -eu 0 $rotateClusterY 0; select -r tempLatticeLattice ; delete -ch; } duplicateCurve -n spiralArc_nCrv -ch 0 -rn 0 -local 0 "tempSphereShape.v[0]"; // delete tempSphere; }; Do you know how long it would take me to learn to do this in another package? when you were talking about TS, steve, yes, it did tempt me a bit. i like the idea of just pulling and stretching a wire mesh to make objects rather than building them line by line or having to script crap. so, i might look at TS, but dont hold your breath

okay was curious about the left/right side of the brain thing so looked up a test, here's my results for this morning.
Brain Type Test - Free Results Are You Left-Brained or Right-Brained? Although one side of the brain is generally dominant over the other, we should strive to utilize both halves. A balanced brain makes a balanced person - combining sequential thinking with a holistic approach, or linear thinking with intuition, enables us to fully comprehend issues and solve problems. Left-brainers can dramatically improve their problem solving abilities by learning to "follow their gut," while right-brainers can improve the execution of their creative efforts. Realizing your dominant half is the first step in becoming balance-brained. Your percentage score for the right brain is 58%. Your percentage score for the left brain is 42%. You are more right-brained than left-brained. The right side of your brain controls the left side of your body. In addition to being known as right-brained, you are also known as a creative thinker who uses feeling and intuition to gather information. You retain this information through the use of images and patterns. You are able to visualize the "whole" picture first, and then work backwards to put the pieces together to create the "whole" picture. Your thought process can appear quite illogical and meandering. The problem-solving techniques that you use involve free association, which is often very innovative and creative. The routes taken to arrive at your conclusions are completely opposite to what a left-brained person would be accustomed. You probably find it easy to express yourself using art, dance, or music. Some occupations usually held by a right-brained person are forest ranger, athlete, beautician, actor/actress, craftsman, and artist. Your left brain/right brain percentage was calculated by combining the individual scores of each half's sub-categories. They are as follows: Left Brain * Linear * Sequential * Symbolic * Logical * Verbal * Reality-based Right Brain * Holistic * Random * Concrete * Intuitive * Nonverbal * Fantasy-oriented was at this website http://www.testcafe.com they have a few tests for things. Nothing wrong with a little insanity ;)

I just gave it a try. My score was right brain 62%, left brain 38%. But the browser crashed before I could read what it means. It is probably the same as what was said about you since our scores are very close to the same. You still have not posted any homework from your Bryce class. ![]() @ronviers |

seems Bryce has built in objects trees, plants and a few other bits, that was one thing we was learning this week. you also get some base textures as well and the wall texture was from that but I built the base blocks for the wall then used the material thing to colour it to the texture the we needed to use. The plant is 3 of one of the shrubs duplicated and moved to different positions.
![]() No clue Steve if its is then wow lol it came with the software ![]()

reminds me a bit of the other tree function Bryce has, there are the object trees and another type of tree base that has more functions for adding branches, trunk thickness, weeping appearance, textures etc. When am in next will try and remember to do a screen shot of both for you

ditto seen as didn't realise Bryce had 2 different tree creating methods lol. Well technically 3 methods because Daz studio is linked and you can import scenes you make in Daz into Bryce. Don't think the class am taking covers that probably classed as more advanced Bryce techniques. Although have to do the basic and work the way up with the classes cause they wont let you go straight in at the deep end unless you have proof you know what your doing.. um which counts me out
