you can see it is still a bit of a mess and you probly want to drop bits out, I had 4 versions so hopefully this was the right one smile;)

Wow! you really did add controls. The controls were interesting on this filter anyway from the standpoint that they all did a lot. Some controls are subtle and it's difficult to tell if you're doing anything – not this filter – move any control just a bit and the change is a dramatically different result.

Not for a while. Working on a project that is taking all my time. It's hard enough doing it with Maya, I would be going crazy trying to do it with something I do not know.

Um... if you save enough HU points from FF, do you think Maya would swap you for them, and let you have the software?

you know what's nuts, every night this week we have had gobby kids knocking on our front door demanding sweets and money for Halloween (only to be told to come back on the correct day). Its now 11.30pm and not one has been around today, go figure smile:| .

Ron, I just found out that you can import HDRs into TS and Blender..... smile:devil:

Carl just sent me a PS plugin that creates high dynamic range images (HDRIs) from a single image (thank you, Carl smile:) ).....so you could use some of those gorgeous images from your FF art filters to make some nice ones.....then use them in TS, Blemder, or back into FF..... smile:devil:

XSI was Maya's main competitor. The other big player is 3ds Max – guess who owns 3ds Max. smile:|
It can be yours for only $5,000.

Have you tried it? Can you do a print screen of the shader nodes TS uses to set that up? I would like to see how they do it. I do not know how to do it in Maya yet. I have put my texturing and redering on hold while I do a modeling project. smile:)

I'm sorry, guys.....I misread Carl's email.....it's an "openEXR" (.exr) PS plugin converter that allows you to save images in .exr format.....which then allows you to import them into FF as HDRIs. I'll send it over to you guys via email.....just copy it into the PS plugin folder.....

Thank Carl for it..... smile;) smile:)

ah, thanks, steve!

but, you do know that all you have to do to make an .exr is to rename '.jpg' to '.exr', right? at least, that's true for the FF import .exr function.

nonetheless, that may come in handy for other applications. so again, thanks smile:)

Thanks. I just had a look around. The samples you have posted are amazing.
