i just watched Top Gear (a car show) where they raced this against the euro-fighter jet. the jet won, but the car was going 196 mpg near the end  plus, it looks pretty cool If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Hey Everyone,
My wife & I purchased this 1970 GTX in Nov. 1969 new for $3.999,after I returned from Vietnam. I added the Crager SS mags a couple months later. Sigh.. Those were some fun years with that car. We are still very much in love. 
I no longer have the car.

Hi Steve,
Yes, that's my wife I bought her the coat because she looked so great in it!
I told her, " go stand by the car & I'll take a picture", she did that pose. Gosh, those were great times....sigh. I'm starting to sound like an old man...lol. 
I wish we still had that car it would be worth $55,000+-!! Long story short.. we sold the car because I wanted a motorcycle, back when we lived in Arizona....sigh..Those were great times...(There I go again).

Hey Ron,
Camera, well.., in 1969 that would have been my Minolta SRT101 that I paid $169.00 for when I was in Vietnam. That was a lot of money to pay for a camera back then, I know, I heard about,that... .lol. Anyway that photo was scanned from a small photo, 4X6 at the largest, whatever it was..
Before digital...way before.

Take the motor out of the Bentley and the wheels off the Spyder, put them on the Shelby, and lower the front a quarter inch.
