What to wear on Valentine's Day?

What's the proper way to dress for a date on Valentine's day? I don't want to be too formal or casual. I prefer semi-casual. I wanna wear a skirt, so what color or material will be suitable? What about shoes and top? Sorry about the questions but I'm kinda dumb when it comes to fashion sense

probably depends on weather, if your knee deep in snow a skirt might be out of the question. Also would depend where your date is taking you, if its to a posh resturant then dress to the nines, but if it's to a mid way kinda resturant then smart casual, or just to a hot dog stand/take away place then well smile:D wear something comfortable.

Also if you are Carl I would stay clear of the Skirt.. smile:D unless worn by someone else pref a female.
