Nice work. Like the B&W kaleidoscope section. Very well done electronic ambience.

I've been exploring procedural methods for 2D styled animation techniques as a part of my motion design series. None of them have specific explanations.

Here's the entire play list.

Really enjoyed the Atomic Particles video. How many hundreds of thousands of particles there, wow!

WOW!! What a great and beautiful abstract composition you have done.

What software have you used? is it created with programming?

It seems to be 3D shapes

I recently purchased the Trapcode Suite from Redgiant on a super awesome 40% discount (unnecessary details). One of them was Trapcode Tao which generates procedural 3D lines. So I threw in a simple image as a texture map, actually a mandelbrot fractal.. which used a 265 color set. And after doing some tinkering, it produced that.

I currently use Tao for generally splashing some nice line effects and other abstract background stuff for titles. It's neat.

If anything, I highly recommend just getting the suite itself given the magnitude of what it can do.

Here's a link that shows most of the capabilities.

Pardon me for boasting a ton! I just have a lot of material I wanna drop off all over the place.

On a super awesome note, The Foundry's currently using my picture I made a year or two ago as their promotional banner for Modo902!

It's practically used everywhere on the website, check it it out.
https://community.thefoundry.co.uk/

The Foundry makes programs like Nuke, which does some industry-grade compositing for film, Mari for texture painting, etc. Chances are if you've seen any film in the last couple years, the film may have used some of those utilities I've mentioned. So it's huge seeing that little picture I made be used as a promotional banner for the program I've been using for the last 3 or 4 years.

Oh, thanks, I see what you used, I already know the Trapcode Suite, but did not know it could make things like this. I also wanted to buy it with the discount but could not afford it

The coal mines remind me of the bleakscape of the Max Headroom TV series. The Forest is either a psychedelic trip in the forest OR a trip to the mall at holiday time... smile;)

SideTrip: "Everything"

Everything was there. Everything he knew. The little things, the big things. The things he came to love and hate. The place he lived. The past, present, and future. Everything.

These procedural workflows enabled some interesting things, for example, we can now replicate on lines produced by particles.

Recent SideTrip painting I did.

The aurora was generated using Modo's volumetric item. Nothing complex here but it's just a simple shader tree I setup.
