Hey everyone, Hows you all dooing? I've been away for a while, but now I'm back.
I've got a lovely new computer in bits with just the case remaining to arrive, so soon I'll now be able to render my images in a reasonable time, so I think i'll be using FF a lot more from now on. Yay! Now I just need an idea for a new filter to make to celebrate my return. Release the Mongoose! |

![]() ![]() I have missed you much and is great that you are back and glad that you have now a better and faster computer to use with FF Welcome back and I wish you the best and hope to see many more new interesting filters for you and that you enjoy much using FF with your new computer Can I say also the pipes king? ![]() And also you have done the only Q*bert simulation that can be applied to any source image and get a wonderfully Colourbert version that only the FF god expert inujima has been able to do something similar You have also been very good and great realistic at stitching although you can´t use your own designs for the stitching And I can´t forget the filter that I know related to you that are the steampunk panels that was very interesting to see how you have done those great and realistic rusted panels that I like very much |

I don't think the fantastic grunge version of the steampunk panel ever made it into the library - any chance of trying again?

The ultra grungey steampunk panel never got into the library because its rendering time was too high, believe it or not there's a limit and the extreme steampunk panel was waaaay over it.
edit - On second pondering, I consider that the grunge panel was made and first submitted with FF version 1, which uploaded the filter to the server which then rendered it, whereas later version render on your own computer. So, it may be that with my new 8 core beast it will happily render in no time at all and submit ok. I will try it out, and also see if I can a bit of optimising too. Release the Mongoose! |
